COMPANY HISTORY
CKS began as a green grocer selling perishable goods at the wet market in 1950. From day one, it’s been a family business deeply integrated with the local community, a reflection of CKS’s vision. The first grocery shop was established in 1976 at Kasigui shoplots, followed by the opening of the first supermarket in 1994. As of May 2025, CKS operates 34 retail outlets around Sabah, employing over 1,000 people. In addition to retail, CKS is expanding into construction and property development, such as CKS Plaza Tuaran.
