COMPANY HISTORY

CKS began life as a green grocer selling perishable goods at the wet market in the year 1950. From the day the doors opened, it’s been a family business that managed day-to-day life with the local community, which this is reflected in CKS’s vision. The first groceries shop was established in the year 1976 at Kasigui shoplots. Following this, the first CKS supermarket was founded in year 1994 and currently with 31 retail outlets around Sabah, with retailing as the main business. CKS is now employing a total of more than 1000 headcount of workforce to date. CKS is also expanding its business potentially in construction and property development, i.e., CKS Plaza Tuaran.
